Helping You Make Informed Consumer Choices

Me at the store, Dome!

My Story

Hi, I’m Sophia. When I say "health and wellness," what comes to mind? Probably fitness, nutrition, maybe sleep, mental health... but what about the products we use on our bodies and in our homes every single day?

A few years ago I started “spinning the bottle,” as I like to say, reading the ingredient labels on my beauty products, cleaning products, clothing… and couldn’t stop. It was an unlock that our everyday products are the least talked about pillar of health and wellness.

What began as my own rabbit hole and daily TikTok videos turned into Detox Your Dome: a community of 100,000+ people learning to read labels, ask better questions, and make informed decisions about what goes on their bodies and in their homes.

I built the tools I wished existed. The Detox Your Dome app cross-references ingredients against 11 regulatory jurisdictions so you get the data instead of an arbitrary score. I host a podcast, where I talk to the founders, doctors, and scientists actually doing this work. And in December 2025, my partner and I opened Dome, our store in Newburyport, MA, stocked with 90+ vetted brands across beauty, bodycare, cleaning, plastic-free home, food and beverage.

Thank you for being a part of the Detox Your Dome community, and for making conscious choices for your three domes: body, home and planet. 🤍

Our Mission

Our mission is to make you an informed, (not overwhelmed) conscious consumer. Every product we carry and promote has been read, researched and chosen carefully based on ingredients and global regulatory standards.
